Here is a view of The Milky Way in Utah, USA! (Canyonlands National Park, to be exact).
I don't know what I like more - the beautiful sky or the place we get to look at it from!  For those who live in the United States, this would be a great trip to take.  You can hike, jog, run or do just about any outdoor activity in the Canyonlands National Park.  Then, at night, you can climb on up to your favorite vantage point and watch the sky in amazement! The best part is, this is a free trip! Well, minus the cost of traveling to this destination but you know what I mean. Go out and enjoy some nature!

So I've been thinking, why don't we go on an adventure?!  After my last post, I realized that I could use an exciting and exhilarating adventure right about ... now.  This picture right here is at the Grand Canyon (closer to home than most!). Not only is the view breathtaking, but check out the Cumulonimbus cloud! Simply amazing. Who would be interested in hiking this insanely beautiful destination with a group including myself? Or, if you are more of the solo type (don't worry, I am at times, too!), let's make a pact. Let's make a trip agenda for you and we can plan your trip together! I would, of course, let you know of all my secret spots there :) Also, I would love to share your photos in hopes of encouraging others to have an adventure!

Let's be honest, we have all  had a dream about going to California ... this picture just brings those dreams into reality.  This is Pfeiffer Beach, Big Sur, CA.  Whether you want to catch some rays on the sandy beach or grab a book, cuddle up and watch the sunset on the rocks, this is a must see destination!

Go out and have an adventure!

Every time I try to encourage people to travel or try something outrageous and new, there always seems to be an excuse.  Usually it goes a little something like this: "I can't, it's too expensive", "I can't take off work" or "I don't have time to travel across the world". Like I said before, these are all EXCUSES! Simple as that.  There are beautiful, exotic and mystical destinations all over the world, not just in the Caribbean or some far away island. For the next posts, I will be posting pictures close to home so we can eliminate all these excuses!  I will focus this posts on area within the United States (for those not from the U.S., I apologize) which are just a road trip away ... come on guys, who doesn't love a care free livin' road trip?!

Of course, I am doing this because I love to travel but I also want to motivate you to do something different.  Think about it .. what if I told you that 10 years from now, you would be doing the same exact thing that you are doing now?  Same car, same house, same job, same whatever else you have ... and worse, same day to day life!  Not that  your life is spectacular, which I am sure it is, I simple just mean that redundancy isn't always the greatest way to live your life.  That means no vacations, no traveling, no seeing new things .. catch my drift?  It wouldn't be that great of feeling. So, this is me, telling you to take advantage of our beautiful earth!  You hold the key to your destiny, go unlock it. Go to a destination near your home where the only money you'll need is for gas and the only time off you'll need is the weekend. GO ON AN ADVENTURE!

Hello everyone, I am Courtney.  If there's one thing about me that you need to know it is that I LOVE to travel.  In this blog, I will show you just how beautiful our world truly is from different vantage points (Africa, United States, Hawaii, Spain, Japan, etc.).  From natural phenomenons to beautiful landscaping (and all that is in between), this blog will highlight all of Earth's natural beauty.  If you retain anything from this blog, I hope it is a realization that material things do not add up to the natural things our Earth has to offer.
